Bax-U – Review by a Posture Expert
Created by Dr. Romina Ghassemi, DC this device is surprising in its simplicity, comfort and effectiveness. The device claims to support and improve posture while being discrete in its concealment – “nobody has to know”. Color options are black, white and nude.
At first this device looks almost to flimsy to do anything. Speaking with Dr. Romina personally, hearing her passion and product research I was excited to see if the product would deliver as advertised. As seen in the analysis forward head translation improved and over time the angle of translation improved. In general Bax-U proved what it claims to do.
According to Dr. Romina for best results wear Bax-U 2-4 hours daily. Adjust straps every 6-12 weeks for postural improvement. After 12 weeks you should notice a difference.
- Company suggests possible insurance coverage
- Great customer service
- Conceals well
- Velcro may lose integrity with time
Overall Score: 5 Stars
Overall, I really enjoyed using this device. Hiding it pretty well under my cloths and the material doesn’t irritate the skin. I did notice my posture improving immediately. The velcro was losing its integrity, although it may be because at first I was taking it on and off quite a bit within the day. I recommend just keeping it on straight for the 2-4 hours daily. During my use I noticed that one shoulder was higher than the other so I chose to make sure to keep the straps even from one side to the other.
